Alicia Chesser

Alicia Chesser, a nearly lifelong Tulsan, is the co-founder and culture editor of The Pickup. Her writing about art and life has appeared in the Village Voice, The Dance Insider, The Tulsa Voice, Urban Tulsa Weekly, LUXIERE, Menagerie, Okie Modern, Pokeweed, and other publications. When she’s not out seeing someone else’s show, she makes, performs, and teaches contemporary dance and enjoys the fact that her three grown children think Tulsa is interesting enough to stick around in.
