Jerakah was a 2021 PEN America Emerging Voices Fellow, shortlisted for the 2023 Granum Foundation Prize, and has been awarded residencies from Dairy Hollow and the 2024 Lambda Literary Retreat for Emerging LGBTQ+ Voices.
