Wanna Tell A Bunch Of Strangers About Your Hobbies And Personal Finances?

Now's your chance!

We've had a lot to say in our first six months of The Pickup, if I do say so myself. Mostly we've been writing about whether or not anything in Tulsa is any good, but we've also dived into very specific topics, like smoking weed on Route 66, eggs, and how sometimes we find ourselves repeating our own sordid history as a city.

It's starting to feel like a good time to ask you, our readers, a little more about yourselves. Enough about us. How about you?

Specifically, we want to hear from you on two big topics:

  • Money, which we all need to get by. We're talking income, debts, financial planning, goals, worries, how you make it all work in Tulsa.
  • And hobbies, which of course make our lives worthwhile. We want to know how you got into your hobby in the first place, what itch it scratches for you, and how other interested readers can get started doing it.

And so we're asking for your help. The idea is to occasionally publish in-depth interviews with readers about their hobbies or their personal finances here on The Pickup. If you'd like to participate, please fill out the interview forms, which can be found below:

Your identifying information will be kept anonymous for the personal finances series. However, we'd like to be able to publish your name for the hobbies series, unless your hobby requires secrecy.

Fill out the forms and we'll follow up with you about publishing your responses here on The Pickup. Thanks for reading.

If you liked this story, please share it! Your referrals help The Pickup reach new readers, and they'll be able to read a few articles for free before they encounter our paywall.
