Lindsey Smith
Lindsey Smith is Professor of English at Oklahoma State University and inaugural Director of NYU Tulsa. Her area of study is Native American and Oklahoma film and literature. Her most recent book is Urban Homelands: Writing the Native City from Oklahoma (2023). She has hosted Tulsa’s Native American Literature Book Club for the past six years in partnership with Whitty Books and has served in leadership for the Tulsa LitFest, Indian Territory Film Festival, and the Center for Poets and Writers at OSU-Tulsa. She is a roller coaster and summer camp enthusiast.
