Open Thread: Was There a Snowstorm or Something?

Every Friday, we turn The Pickup over to the readers.

A QT BBQ sandwich container I found on a trip outside. Art is everywhere…

I don’t know about you, but I spent this week huddled indoors with my various soups, stews, and teas. I made the mistake of hitting the grocery store the night before the storm hit and waited in a 40+ person line the likes of which I’ve never seen. Together, we waited, we grew, we bought, uhhh, bread and milk.

So, as you can probably tell, I’m going to ask about the snowstorm. Tell me in the Comments section: How’d you fare? Did your pipes freeze? (Mine did, but with the power of a space heater and some old-fashioned yelling, I got them going again.) How were the roads?

As always, if this prompt doesn’t speak to you, ignore it and talk about whatever you want. The Open Thread is yours.
