Zelenograd (pop. 180,000) is a district of Moscow, and in honor of our two cities’ connection Tulsa Global Alliance is screening a rare treat for international film fans at Circle Cinema. Soviet filmmaker Andrei Tarkovsky won the Grand Jury Prize at Cannes in 1972 for Solaris, a totally original sci-fi epic made up of long takes, dream states, familial grief and deep meditation on the nature of reality. —Matt Carney
