O, Brother Where Art Thou? soundtrack owners, this is your big night. Grab your folding chairs, portable coolers and kick off those Chacos for a sit-down in the cool grass at Guthrie Green with Americana icon Gillian Welch, whose style The New Yorker once described as "innovative and obliquely reminiscent of past rural forms." That’s an apt description, to which I would add that I just think she’s really good. Did I mention that this event is free? —Matt Carney
